Default eibach sportline

I'm considering buying the eibach sportlines. Because mine is a vert it will lower it 1.7" in the front and 1.5" in the rear. Does this mean I need new CC plates as well? What happens if I don't get new CC plates?

it will be close...i would try having it aligned without them to begin with... thats close to a pro kit for a coupe....if you dont get c/c plates and need them you will have some negative camber thats all... tires will tilt in / \ like that slightly...more wear on the inside edge of the tire tread...improves handling though lol

I would get the prokit not the sportlines. I have an aftermarket exhaust on my car, and I bottom out all the time. So if you drive mainly on smooth roads (i dont) get them, other than that I'd get the prokit, but thats just me.

i have LTs on mine and i never bottom out, maybe you should smack whoever put your exhaust on.

dont forget you need GT coupe springs, not V6 springs.

really? well it's right at the y-pipe where it hangs down a little but it was a local mechanic not an exhaust shop, and he ripped me off which I know now after talking to some guys on here. But yeah thats pretty sad....

more than 1.5" drop i would use the steeda X2 balljoints and offset rack bushings. this will keep the steering geometry pretty good. as far as CC plates i don't run them but they are not a bad idea. you need a decent strut/shock like at least a tokico blue or KYB GR2. i really like the KYB gas adjust. i had them on my old firebird and were great. you could adj them for normal driving or firm them up for autoX. i run KYB GR2 on the front of my car now with Tokico blue out back with the steeda X2 ball joints and hawk sport springs with 1.5" drop. handles like a dream and the ride is really nice with a good stance. i wouldn't go any lower than 1.5" but that's me i use my car alot and anymore drop wouldn't be practical for me

Well because I have a vert the sport lines will lower my car 1.7" front, 1.5" back.
the eibach pros will lower it 1.1" front and back. What do you guys recommend, the pros or sportlines?

Personally, I would do the 1" drop, more than a 1.5 is kind of extreme, for me anyways...

any other opionions on the sportlines versus the pro's? I don't drive crazy, but i love taking my corners hard cause I have many good driving roads up here in the country. I'm now kinda leaning towards the pros only because i would hate to blow so much money getting new balljoints, cc plates and such. what do you guys think? anyone got the pro's and anyone got the sports?

put a chin spoiler on your car and you can plow your drive way with it
