It was the diablo quick tunes...the nearest dyno place is like 100 miles away from me..so its hard to get the time but...i guess ill have to get it tuned for the right mods, but im really thinkin about a motor swap cause u figure all the bolt ons and tuning is gonna add up..so why not get a diffrent motor u know.

You're kind of limited on motor swaps, because if you're thinking about swaping in any V8, forget it, the amount of modifications that need to be done to make a V8 fit in a V6 is quite extensive and expensive.

Yes, any Ford motor will "fit," however, it's the amount of modifications needed to make it do so. These new cars aren't like the cars of old, you can't just buy any old motor and drop them in any old car and do one or two mods and it will fit fine.

For example, let's say you wanted to take a stock V6 and put int a new boss 302 motor, here's just a basic list as to what would need to be done:

GT shocks/struts - sixer s/s are different and will not support the engine.
5.0 ECU - sixer ECU is not compatable
Boss 302 belhousing - sixer, again totally different
8.8" rear end - 7.5" isn't going to cut the mustard
Possible cooling fan and radiator modifications - sixer may not be compatable
5.0 wiring harness - again, sixer isn't going to work

Now that's just a few parts needed to do the swap, you've still yet to build up the motor with the extra goodies. Best thing to do if you want a V8, sell the sixer, buy a GT, then do any work you'ld like to do.
