Default speedo question

so im looking into the m90 swap and im getting everything together on what id need and etc. Iv got the list of all the engine parts and even the stuff all the way down to the rear end and i got to thinking what about the gauge cluster???? i cant b having a supercharged v6 with a speedo that only goes to 120! lol iv only looked into it a little bit but i know for sure i wanna go with either gt or cobra gauges but seein as how the stock gauges only go to 120 like i said i was wondering what i would need as far as calibrating the needle and what not. im thinking id need to buy a speed calibrator but im not quite sure exactly. if nebody knows exactly wut i need can ya let me know. the project wont b happening for a lil while but i still need to know.

thanks in advance guys

So, what you'll need is a new set of gauge faces or the gauge cluster, then you'll need a new speedo gear. This will have to take into account what rear axle ratio you have & also tire size. The gearbox output shaft drives the speedo gear so anything from there rearwards has to be taken into account. A new speedo gear is about $10-15, they will generally be able to advise how many teeth on the speedo gear are needed for your set-up.
