Nah I wouldn't go with mags unless they're the special sameside inlet/outlet side exhaust. I just didnt a side exit with glass packs, sorta sounds like a tractor when I rev it but I have yet to hear it from the outside cruising.

Magnaflow and Borla make a regular chamber muffler, they're just quiet compared to the Flows. I have Flow super 40s. They sound good with the o/r h-pipe and LTs. 500-2500 rpm is amazing, 3000 is drone, wide open (4500-5500 rpms) is great... and loud.

hands down with LT's and offroad H the Cherry bomb extreme single chambers. they are flowmaster single chamber race muffler clones.

they are about $60/muffler @ www.jegs.com

i have them with factory 98 headers and MAC offroad H on my 98. they sound deep at idle through 2500 but are real loud.

direct link to them. the pic shows a dual outlet but the part# is correct for the stang. they are shorter and need a short piece of pipe to connect them to the tails

magnaflow and borla are not chambered. they are perf straight through pipe with fiberglass packing

You are right, sorry to the OP for bad info. Just don't get the Magnapaks or Borla S-type "stinger" mufflers.

I thought that magnaflow made straight through and chambered mufflers?
