pretty much everyone in this section has a 3.8, problem with the 94's are blown head gaskets although it hasn't happened to mine after 85k miles (knock on wood)
oh and there slow 145 horses to the crank

94s had head gasket issues, however at 200K on the block and body that car is worn out IMO, and there's either a lot of parts that's about to fail, or have failed, due to old age/wear and tear. If you want a Mustang, look for one with less miles, and newer, also, don't rule out a GT, the insurance and gas thing is minimal (depending on driving record, state, and driving style) and in the end you'll wind up craving the extra power.
A little comparison for you:

i agree with jthorn you going to want more power than a 94 is worth .. even after my mods my car is still quite slow and the money i spent buying it+mods i spent the same amount on a cobra
I'd have to agree, over 200k is quite a bit, I have 233k currently, and I've been through it with this car. I'd look for a lower mileage new edge if I were you, there rather cheap now, depending on where you live. Even the new edge GT's are cheap, really depends where you are wanting to go with the car. GL
