Chicago Auto Show!
I'm now doubtful as to wether or not the camaro will ever hit the streets in anything other than pre-production form. I'm hoping this bailout limits them to only PROFIT PRODUCING MODELS, since we all know sports cars don't really make the manufacturers all that much money.

Thats why I see more Chargers on highways! One of this would be good for the cops, not so much for US auto industry tho!
Wow I have the interior of that suzuki surfer car on my back porch! Thanks for the pictures. Wish I could have gone. I've been to the Detroit Auto Show (in 2002), but I've heard Chicago is great as well.
On the note of the Camaro, I know someone who has already ordered one and GM originally told him April, now saying late May. So he should have it by November.

I know a few people that have "ordered" one, which means they put a deposit to be on a waiting list for the right to pay the "market price" markup on the first few that come out. And even though it took almost a decade to produce, we all know how bad the first year cars are, especially when it's a completely new car and not an updated design/concept.
Oh yeah, I know that. I'm just saying that's when GM is said he could "expect" delivery. The same thing was with the GT500, Nissan GTR, Audi R8 to name a few. Just another way for people to clean out your pockets.
As far as first year cars go especially for GM, I'm pretty sure the C5 Corvette was Consumer Reports' "Most Unreliable Car" when it came out.
