well, i was outta gas, and didn't have time to go to the gas station, so i told my bro to go fill up my tank with one of the gas containers in the garage. he did it, and when i went out and checked, he filled up my car with 1 six gal of unlead, and 1 six gal of desiel. well i tried siphoning it out, but it didn't work. i think there is something blocking the tube from going down. I tried like a garden hose, and the small little hose used in fish tanks, neither worked. Then i tried it on my van, and that didn't work. i thought people used to siphon gas from their cars all the time? how the hell did they do it?

That's not good. You will most likely need to lower the gas tank from the car and drain it that way.

 

in the newer cars you cant siphon gas out of them
they installed a screen down in there to deter thieves i think from stealing your gasoline

 

this sucks...i might just call AAA and have them do it if they can. well what kinda cars does this work on? like just the older ones? i remember my dad telling me he used to do it from his car to the lawn mower all the time

i believe you can siphon out of an 80 model or older.
i cant remember when they started putting the screens down in there.
