It's above the rear axle, you need a phillips head screw driver and a fuel line disconnect tool.

I bought the stupid fuel line tool but my fuel lines pulled off with no problems. O well, it was cheap, and it never hurts to have more tools.

Can you pick one up at autozone or napa? I was going to do mine this weekend as well.

Ya, any parts store really, the tool was under 10 bucks and the filter around that. I think I walked out the door with the filter and tool for 16 bucks. Took longer to jack up the car and put the stands on it then to change it out. Read up on your haynes manual before hand, its got more tips to make it easier.

Don't have a haynes manual, I have the one that came with the car. I suspose I should pick one up while I'm at Napa.

yea i got gas everywhere when i did mine. best thing to do is there is a little red button inside your trunk on drivers side under the carpet like by the tail light. push it and start your car, it will turn off your fuel pump and your car will burn all the gas in the fuel lines, when your car chokes out turn it off and then remove the filter and most of the gas should be gone from the lines
