many here will tell you "with the difference you pay for a gt, you can make the car just as fast..."
which is true, you can buy a m112 blower kit and call it a day or spend extra dollars on a procharger or vortech.
I personally would keep the v6 until it dies. Theyre great, reliable cars, and you wont have to go through the ordeal of finding a new car and buying it as well.

The question is do you want a V8 or do you just want a performance machine?
As quicksilver said, performance wise the cost doesn't justify the GT, but what you need to ask yourself is do you want a V8? If that is what you really want then no matter how many mods you do to your 3.8 you will most likely never be happy.
If you just what a high performance car then the 3.8 is a great platform and you can build a nice ride out of it.

keep the 6er....if you go for a GT you have to find one for more that the 6er was, you also have to pay for more gas (even if its not that much its still money), plus you will be paying more for insurance and depending on your age that will cost you a fortune....
