what are good mods i should get to get close up to 260hp without gettin a supercharger or turbo?

heads/cam/intake on a 4.2 probably the best way. I believe a stock 4.2 pushes out about 215-220 hp (I think at the crank not sure) and a stage 2 h/c/i from ssm can get you like 60-70hp or so they claim. No personal experience. So thats 180 crank stock. 220 with 4.2 and maybe 270-280 with h/c/i so what would that be like 230 at the wheels? Again I am not positive on this so wait for someone who has either done it or has more knowledge than me. Also throw a full lt exhaust and tuner. That should add a few.

 

Geez I recognize hardly anyone haha. Are you talking crank or to the wheels? Personally I'd just get a custom tune and a 100 shot of nitrous. May I ask why you dont want a supercharger or turbo?

its actually 260.342hp but thats tooo specific. haha but really just get a single turbo setup easy cheap if u know were to look.
