Default Replacing reverse lights need help

Has anyone replaced their bulbs? I looked in the manual and it just said to go to a professional. I'm not gonna do that. I popped the trunk and looked at it but it seems like i need to take the whole tail light off. Any help?

It's 2 or 3 bolts, I'll be damned if I remember what size, but they hold the rear lights on. You'll need the long 3" sockets to reach in there and get them. Once they're out pull out the rear taillights, and then, just like the head lights, take out all the lights (change all of them out while you're back there) and then go to an auto parts store, get the right bulbs, then reinstall them. Takes about 10 minutes to do both taillight sets.

I've replaced tail lights on many makes/models and the mustang is one of the more challenging ones to do. I once poured 3-4 inches of water out of someone's tail light, no wonder they were getting their bulbs replaced.

Alright, i replaced the bulbs and checked the fuse. The lights still aren't working. Is there some sensor in the transmission that i might need to replace?
