Default Educate me?

So i know very little about the sixxers of the mustang word, now rather than being an ignorant **** who thinks his v-8 owns all, i'm trying to get some general knowledge of these cars.

Few questions, what do these usually make stock? (whp)
what rear end gears are in that 7.5 rear?
What kind of gains do you guys see from forced induction, on the stock internals? 6-8 psi.
what is the limit of the stock internals?
How much do you guys usually see from the 4.2/4.3 forged/blown applications?
Are these lighter/how much? than the GTs of the same bodystyle?

just wondering, a couple buddies of mine rock sixxers and i'd like to know what im talking about when i try to diganose something so i might be hangin around here a little bit.

1.) between 160-175 ish
2.) 3.27 in the 99-04 and 2.73s in the pre 99 (I believe)
3.) right at 270-300rwhp
4.) seems to be about 400rwhp, but 350 is the "safe" point.
5.) 500 range with blowers, 550+ with turbos
6.) maybe 200-300lbs

-160ish horsepower for the 99+ and maybe 130 for the pre99's
-3.27 in the 99+, 2.7something for the pre 99's
-It will put you close to 280 rwhp but people are making 330rwhp / 309rwtq @ 7psi with a Eaton.
-Stock internals have been pushed to above 400, but I would call 340hp the top of the safe zone. The internals are CRAP. But the stock blocks and stock 4.2 cranks have been proven unbeatable, people are making 600+ with stock equipment.
-380hp +
-100 or so pounds.

If your gonna run a straight six you might as well just make a Cummins diesel mustang. haha No, no dont. Bad, bad, bad, why did I even think of that?

not a mustang but  straight 6 cummins

160ish is stock power, on a split port (99-04, single port is 94-98, similar to NPI and PI)

94-98 = 2.73, 99-04 = 3.27, 05+ = 3.31, all are 7.5 open diffs, 5 speeds are t5s, autos are 4R70Ws

with an IC 11 psi is perfectly fine for a daily driver with any half *** tune (example, procharger kit will put down about 300 rwhp, 7 psi with a heaton will get you about 330 rwhp and a torque curve thats pretty much a flat line) , people have been known to push them to 17 psi on a 100% stock motor with VERY good tuning (430 rwhp)

stock internals depends, maybe 350ish, depends on tune. with a stroker/blower set up you can basically tune your car to whatever power level you want, the current "record" for most v6 power is 640 rwhp IIRC, but thats due to lack of people building them more then anything.

fords 3.8 is actually loosly copied from the buick 231 GN motor with some slight similaritys, they used an on center block instead of buicks off set, and the heads are based off cleavland 2V heads. in turn, STOCK split port heads flow slightly less then those new $3000 Trickflow 4.6 heads (ive been seeing 220-240 cfm for the trickflows, stock splits are about 200 cfm.)

heres the numbers on some crappy flowing single port heads

your really not going to get much out of an N/A essex, but with a nice amount of F/I they really shine
