Default Motor Mount Issue?

When I start up, I can hear a dull, single "clunk/clank" sound on the driver's side. Doesn't happen every time, but nearly. It also happens a lot of the time when I try and accelerate quickly. Could this be a broken motor mount?

Does the "clank clank" happen over and over really fast, and gets fast the harder you accelerate?? Mine does that and Im sure its a valve shutting. It almost makes me think the valve keeper is broken. But I dont think your is a motor mount. Maybe someone wiser than me can help me out with the valve assembly, do we have valve keepers or what???

No, it's not a continuous thing. It happens once when the engine is put under a significant amount of stress.

Mine started off only to make noise when i put alot of stress on it, but as time has gone it has started to make more and more noise will less and less stress....just something to watch out for.

the easiest way to tell is to put it up on stands and check it out. It's pretty easy to tell when it's bad.

Ryan, I'm not sure exactly how to even tell, tbh. I'm just starting to try and learn auto stuff on my own. What exactly am I looking for?

Buy yourself a Hayne's and Chilton's manual, it'll give you a lot of pics to help you isolate stuff. Well worth the investment.
