Default Fuel pump?

I've had code after code on my 97 V6 Mustang.
I seem to have taken care of the P1443, finally.
I thought I had taken care of the P0304 and P0305
I have replaced injectors 4 and 5, also replaced the coil pack and the fuel filter.
Just want someone to agree with me that the the fuel pump is the next logical choice before I replace it.

Thanks

It seems to only throw the misfire codes when I get on it.

You can test the pump, I'd try doing that. If it's whining really loud, or making no sound then it's bad. You should hear a low hum. Have someone turn the key to the "on" position, and listen under the fuel tank for it to come on.

Thats what I was thinking however, I'm on travel and she'll have to wait till next month.
If the fuel pump is bad, Is there an easier way to replace than; http://forums.stangnet.com/658057-98...placement.html

Can I cut a hole from inside the car and access it from above without dropping the tank?

Swapping the pump only takes about an hour to do. There's no "sane" way to drill a hole with the tank still in place to access the top of the hat. It would be a HUGE hole anyway.
