Default V6 problem please help.

I was doing a head gasket swap and made a rather large mistake. I happened to get in a hurry during disassemble and neglected to pay enough attention. There is a sensor of some kind with two what I am guessing are vacuum lines and a wired plug hooked to it. The sensor is bolted to a bracket that bolts to the very back bolt on the upper intake and to the top rear throttle body stud. Here is where the issue comes in, while pulling it apart I lost track of where the hose from the side market "HI" goes to. I have the tube completely off the car just need to know where to hook the opposite end from the sensor. The car is a 96, 3.8L and bone stock. Please help ASAP.

Some further information, its called either a Differential Feedback Pressure Sensor or a EGR Valve Pressure Sensor, depending on who you ask.

Are you talking about the vacuum regulator or the DPFE sensor? Its the DPFE sensor I need help with. I have not a clue where that short hose goes to from the HI side of the sensor.

I do not have a digital camera to use but I was able to find a picture of the box in the engine bay.

In that picture it is the aluminum colored box that is just to the left of the EGR valve. That is the sensor I am talking about.

i believe the dpfe sensor is the Egr sensor. there should be 2 hose. one that big and one that is smaller then the other. the sensor has two places where the hoses can go. the big one = bigger place. smaller hose = smaller place.

the issue I have is where the opposite end of the hose goes. It came off of what it is connected to opposite of the sensor. BTW that is not the car I ahve been working on, just a pic I found that shows the sensor location.

Problem is solved, the hoses plug into two small tubes coming off from the EGR down pipe.
