Another problem came up... ugh.
Ight so last night on the way to my buddies house the check engine light came on so i figured it was from the manifold not being fully tightened. So i went to sunoco this morning to get it tightened. Got that all taken care of so i went to Autozone to do a code check anyways and I got an O2 Sensor Code come up, I think it was PO155 I think it said, he said it was an O2 Sensor code, then an unreadable dealership code came up also from what he said. Anyone have these similar problems, what should I do?
take it somewhere that can diag it properly. if you dont know what the other code is you will have a hell of a time trying to fix the problem. p0155 is 02 sensor heater circuit malfunction bank 2 sensor 1(left side of engine closest to engine). maybe a sensor, maybe wiring you can guess or diag it.
did you extend that o2? if so was it a custom job? i actually didnt have to extend that one i just pulled the harness down and it reached. but if you custom extended, did you use the same guage wire? if its any bigger it can sometimes mess with the signal. also you should shrink wrap the solder points and wrap in tape so water cant get in at all.
Yea, i ended up just wiggleing the two points together and started the car back up and the check engine light went away... not sure about that dealer code crap but i did notice that my car vibrates a **** ton now but drives great. Friggin car needs to make up its mind and choose one thing for me to fix and not move around haha.
