what can i do to make my dual flowmasters on my 2003 v6 louder?

Dump the exhaust right before the rear axle.

Shorties won't make your exhaust louder and add nothing performance wise. . . .Long Tubes on the other hand will add volume and depth to your sound. o/r H with flow 40s ftw.

+1 dumping the exhaust, its very loud with my Borla's.

Also do you have 2 chamber 40's?
Are they even Series 40's?

longtubes or dumps (but they get annoying i hear) and a midpipe of some sort and also the right cam would make it better too but that'd be the last step

Hmmm

Well you can always have a muffler shop modify a 94/95 X or H pipe for you to fit the sixxer, I have a 94/95 BBK O/R X-pipe. It was only $70 to have it modified, of course different shops will charge different prices.

I also re-used the stock 96' shorty headers which are slightly better over the 00' manifolds that came with my 00' engine.

A good cold air intake, tuner and some porting will help the sound even more.
