Default fuel filter

I have a 2003 v6 mustang and I need to find the fuel filter. Let me know if anyone can tell me where it is.

Default RE: fuel filter

It's in the rear by the gas tank. You don't even have to lift the car, just crawl on under. You can relieve the fuel pressure at the Shrader valve located on the engine near the distributor. Make sure you're not under the fuel filter when you disconnect the lines and have some rags and a pan ready to catch the gas that will run out. Unbolt the fuel filter before you remove the lines because you will want to hook up the new filter as quickly as possible, at least the one line the fuel will be poring out of. Make sure you work in a well ventilated area so fumes can't build up that may explode in case of a spark. It's really not a hard job. Good luck.
