Fuel filter is easy to change. You need a special tool to get it the clamps to loosen tho.

hey hey 49.99$ at you local jiffy lube

i did mine in the spare bay at jiffy lube cuz i work there and it was not that easy to do, i mean its not hard but i had to take it off its mounts then the clips were a pain in da ***. in the end it was worth it, the fuel that came out the tank side was rly dirty. i got the car with 92,000 on it and i bought it at auction so there were no service records besides the carfax but that doesnt show much

You're kidding right? I'd call it quits if working on cars is a goal of yours...

OP, fuel filters are easy. You don't have to bleed anything. When you disconnect the line, some fuel will come out since it's still under some pressure, but it'll stop spraying in a few seconds. When you put the new one on, you can either cycle the key a few times to build pressure back up, or just crank it. It'll have some extended crank time before firing up, since it lost pressure when you disconnected the lines.

I know you work at jiffylube and want to promote it and all, but a fuel filter is 15 bucks a napa, and you can learn how to do it yourself. No offence man just saying...

i know man im just messing around, i only work their because the people i work with are great and we can joke around and have alot of fun but at the same time get **** done right. its not like i love the services we provide i know they are not always great. i got my fuel filter at napa for like 13 bucks and did it myself too, thats the way it should be; but for 99.9% of americans who dont even know what the underside of there car looks like, or under the hood, there is jiffy lube

dude there is a clip on the left and one on the right. buy the tool from advanced or whereever they sell them pull the clips off (watch ur face cuz here comes the gas) hold a bucket there to catch the fuel, wait till the fuel all comes out (wont be that much) then get back in there and reconnect it.

u may need to take the fuel filter off the mount that it is on in order to access it easily, (its just like a hose clamp holding it on there)

At Jiffy Lube? Are we thinking of the same Jiffy Lube?
