I would go with the Windstar intake, as stated you will see more gains the more mods you do to the car. You could make some serious n/a power if you did all of what you listed.

ok.. well now the big question.. I was looking it over and if I were to do all the mods listed before the price is going to be somewhere in the range of 5,000 installed.. Now my question is would it be worthe it to just forget that stuff and go right for the Turbo Charger? Part of me figured I should build up the motor to handle the Turbo but I talked with a guy that works just on Mustangs and I told him everything I was looking at and he told me it would definately give the car some pep but said what I thought about just Turbo Charging it..At first i was just like no no no.. but now im realizing the cost between the 2 routes is pretty much the same.. might actually be cheaper to go the Turbo route.. But my concern is the fact taht im running a stock motor.. Any input on going the turbo route.. Also if i was to just turbo the stock motor what is a safe hp range that i can get with all the stock components?? Thanks for all your input i really appreciate all the help you guys provide.

I don't know what you can push as far as turbos on the stock motor but I believe people say the safe point for the m112 on a stock motor is around 300-350hp. Correct me if I'm wrong though.

I think Ryan is selling windstar intakes for like 50 bucks. Just throwin that out there... Would be MUCH cheaper to gather all the stuff separately for that...

300hp with a turbo is perfectly fine, 350hp and beyond and you are starting to push it and it is just a matter of time. A turbo is very efficient on our V6's but they require some custom work and a good knowledge of engines.

The car has 50,000 original miles on it. Just 50/50 if I should just go and do the turbo or do the other mods as listed above first and build up to a turbo..

If you were to do the above mods and then add the turbo on to that you would see massive gains. A stage 2+ with a turbo and bolt-ons would easily be in the 450hp range... You would need a whole new rotating set.

Crank, rods, and pistons... forged. Might as well stroke and bore it to a 4.3L while you're at it.
