Default flowmaster muffler question

alright.. Ive been listening to a lot of sound clips and looked up a bunch off different exhaust set ups for my 2003 v6. I think ive decided on getting an hpipe and flowmaster 40s. I looked on the flowmaster website and they are now advertising 409S Stainless steel mufflers. I looked into it and found two that would work but wanted to know what the difference was. they are both 2.5 in and out, but the one has offset ins and outs whereas the other has one centered and the other is off set. What is the difference? does one sound different or does it just affect where the tailpipes come out? Heres some pics to show you what i mean....

And you should get offset/offset if I'm not mistaken, thats what I have on mine. And what hpipe are you getting?

It would cost less to have them fab up midpipes from the stock cats to the mufflers. Doesn't sound too much different from an hpipe till you get longtubes from what Ive heard.

yeah a true dual setup and an h pipe setup dont have a big difference in sound at all with the stock headers, from what ive heard

with long tubes, ive only heard and h pipe in person, an x pipe on youtube with good quality. i havent heard a long tube with no crossover with good quality yet so idk what that would sound like

I bet it wouldn't sound bad but doesn't the H pipe remove some of that "pitting" and "popping" sound. I personally don't mind it on mine, I think it sounds kind of cool lol.

i just dont want to get raspy sound that a lot of the make. Ive heard a lot of hpipe setups that sound pretty deep, which is what im looking for. maybe ill check into some long tubes. Thanks

It will get pretty raspy above 3-4k rpms anyway, thats just how our cars are, but up to that point they can sound amazinnggg for a V6.
