Default Problem from a while back..

I have had a problem for a while now and really hasn't bothered me but just wondering if you guys know of a quick fix.. When I first got the car it had the white gauges that lite up at night in blue.. anyway they weren't hooked up when i bought it so i tried getting them to work but no good.. so i bought a new set and installed them.. problem is that when i installed them i accidentally knocked off the rpm and battery needle.. well when i threw them back on i figured everything was fine but the battery and rpm gauge are no longer working.. well they work but they just read wrong.. for example at idle the rpm gauge reads like 2,000 and the batter gauge reads in the redline all the time.. just wondering if there are any quick fixes for this or if its a matter of taking it all apart and conducting a trial and error to get it back which might be a pain in the a$$ because how can you know the "exact" rpms your at... thank for any help...

You go the needles on in the wrong spot. you need to take about the gauge cluster and fix it.
