I know they are made of aluminum, but are they polished, painted, or clearcoated?

 

The ones with the little rivet like holes in them?

They are brushed with a clear over them I think, provide a picture of them so we can tell you what coating they are if any.

Mach 1 rims for example are coated and the coating can become damaged over time or with harsh chemicals and cleaners.

Mine are clear coated. The wheels still look good, but the center caps are starting to look crusty.
