Default 2010 V6 Mustang

Does anyone on this forum have a '10??? I was looking at their specs and noticed that they have a panhard rod in addition to a better suspension set up. I was wondering how they handled stock. I would think that with their lighter weight and better suspension set up that they should handle pretty decently stock. If they would just use an aluminum block things would be good for them. They would lose probably 100lbs as well as losing the weight in the front end. I like their looks a lot better than the 05-09's. lol Just wondering though.

They don't look bad except for the rear.

I got a new V6 2009 3 weeks ago. I am super glad I did. I just don't like the total looks of the 2010s either.

I test drove one a few days ago, they handle better than any of the previous models have, very smooth and responsive. Not sure I am willing to spend the money just yet, I need something for the winter first.

Nice. I used to like the 05-09 but the more I look at them the more I dislike them... They seem so crude compared to the '10 model, not too much has changed on the '10 but enough has to make them look a lot better. IMO anyway. I just love the way that they look, but then again I like the 94-98 more than the New Edge styling too. lmao Oh well, different strokes for different folks I suppose.

I would imagine that if they improved the steering a bit on the Mustang as well as the weight distribution a wee bit it would be one of the best handling cars for the money. Get a tighter steering system, trackpac on the GT and it would probably be able to at least keep up with a 370Z around a track. Not beat it, but keep up with it.

No doubt in its price range it is one of the best handling, don't get me wrong it is no BMW handling wise, but it is also half the price, but it is a big improvement over previous years.

There is a very nice grabber blue '10 here in the dealership with every option possible, sadly the only "Option" that I wouldnt want is an auto. I wont be test driving that one any time soon thanks to the auto. YUCK!

As for the looks, I really really like the '10 way better overall from the 05-09, just that *** is god aweful. I like the rear bumper a lot, 100% more than the old, but did they really have to f*ck up the rear of it by cutting it forward? Well I guess we wait for the 2014 mustang now :x

Anyone see Fords press release yet as an answer to the Camaro?

They are CLAIMING to be putting the Twin Turbo 3.5L (350-365hp (The NEW Taurus SHO engine)) base and a DOHC 5.0 big bore 400hp 400tq engine in the GT. The release is from Ford and seems to point to a mid year shift, if not though 2011 will be the year to see the new powerplants.

I think the car looks cool from the front and side, but the rear is GOD AWFUL IMO. I never really liked the 05-09 body style, but if the 2010 would of kept a similar taillight assembly, the car would be awesome. Overall, not a bad looking car, but I couldn't live with that rear assembly.
