Default V6 help

Ok so I know ive posted something like this already but this one is somewhat different. I want to upgrade my stang , but I have some cash issues so Im forgetting power upgrades. I just want look. I will put in a dual exhuast though because it does help with looks. I need some ideas. Mine is like a dark blue 2008 coupe. I was planning on putting a roush body kit on is this possible on the v6? I also want white racing stripes, black bullet rims, blue window tinting, as I mentioned dual exhuast, billet fuel door, and ram air hood(I know its performance, but it looks good too). Please give me your opinion. Ive already got some figures on how much this is going to cost I just want to know wat everyone thinks.

leave the stock body, get bullitt take off wheels. then use the money from the bodykit on an X-charger or turbo. by the time you get the kit and paint, you could have a fast 6

I wasn't trying to be an ******* just make my point that there are plenty of performance mods that you could buy for eelstucly cheap any thing body wise unless you are extersmely lucky and find take off parts from somebody that you don't have to paint then you are looking at hundreds to thousands just having it done right just to put it in perspective here is my body list with prices

Bumper 177
Hood. 220
Bezels 50
Fogs 75
Chin spoiler 150
Grill pony 35
Spoiler 50 (buddy)
Paint 450

The price for paint is from my cousins body shop for the bumper
Hood deck lid and spoiler prepped and painted

Just sayin

Just a quick question...are you a teenager?

I hear you loud and clear about wanting to do body work first. The Roush kit is my first plan too. I dunno about doing it with a sixxer, I know most of the aerobody parts will work, except the bloody rear fascia, which, oh hey, you have to buy their $800 exhaust kit for it to work. Hooray. That means I'll have to save up quite a bit more, but I believe it may work on a sixxer with the installation of dual exhaust. Might sound crummy though, and would probably run your bill up a bit. But hey, your car. Do what you want with it.

And to anyone against putting a Roush kit on a V6, no matter what you have under the hood, if you've got that kit and that exhaust, it's a bona-fide Stage 1 Roush Mustang.

Happy modding, dude.

imo always work on performance first and visual last.

Our 96' project is green with silver doors and a black front end because it was stollen and stripped. Whats in it now? A lot of money in performance and no money in visual, well the Mach 1 rims have great tires on them and are very light so thats the only visual item but its also performance.

I suggest saving the cash for performance parts.

Hell, do what I did, buy the rims because they are lighter, have great looks and great rubber and then upgrade to the GT500 brake kit. That takes care of visual and performance.

Lower the car a little next and thats more visual and performance hand in hand. Exhaust is also the same idea.

Like many others have said, what I plan on doing (and would recommend) is focusing on performance first. There's really no point in driving a sporty looking car if there's nothing sporty under the hood.

Do you plan on installing/fabricating all these pieces yourself or are you going to take it to a professional? That's another cost factor you've really got to think about.

For the money would you rather have a car that looks fast, or a car that doesnt look as fast til you jump off the line? I was going to spend money on new paint and a kit but now im looking at buying a cheap beater and putting my lil girl in the shop for some goodies....
