Default Cats on or Off?

im planning on gettin duals for my car but i think it sounds better from what i had heard if u dont have cats. I was wonderin if that would hurt my performance if u took them off and if that it would burn up my MAF. Im sayin screw emissions tests cause i know all the cops in my town cause my dads the chief of the fire dept. So i have got out of a couple of tickets to lol.

It'll be louder and a bit more raspy. You'll lose some low end torque. It won't burn up your MAF sensor. You will need MIL eliminators or a tuner to turn off the rear O2 sensors.

It might make a difference (haven't done it), but if you want to have cats, I'd get some hi-flo cats. The torque loss probably wouldn't be as significant.

On a stock to lightly modded V6, LEAVE THE CATS ON! You'll lose power and it will sound like crap.

Run a pair of high flows instead of the four stockers if you do anything with them at all.
