Default Replacing struts?

Since my 98 doesnt have the front strut/coil spring unit, they are separate, it should be pretty easy to swap them out, correct? I have access to a drive on car lift, so couldn't I lift it and undo the bottom 2 bolts, drop it and undo the tops which should let them fall out, lift it and bolt up new ones, and then drop it and tighten tops?

Yeah its really easy and completely doable with hand tools and no lift, just time consuming. Follow ryan's sticky.

You don't have to undo the brakes and taking the wheels off isn't that big a deal man. Try it your way and let me know how it works.

I took mine off, while the car was on the ground, without touching the breaks at all, I did need to take the wheel off though.
