Default Seating Question

Alright, this isn't really a performance question or anything... but i have a v6 and figured hey, it's a v6 forum... i can't post on it! I've got cloth seats that are ugly as hell (stains, burns, etc) and i'm replacing them with leather. the two buckets and the bench in the back. does anyone have an idea of how much it would be to get leather seats? and no, i don't want crappy seat covers!! thanks guys

You could get them reupholstered with leather, which would save a lot. If you buy all new seats, I would assume that it would cost a heck of a lot.

Or, try the classified section, ebay... other mustang classifieds- simply because sometimes people are willing to trade cloth for leather. I've seen a guy on here do that before.

ebay is a good choice like xRock said. I got my 35th Ann. Two tone leather seats off ebay for $600. That is the whole seats package, not just the skins. I think that was a hell of a deal. I also got the GT fog lights off ebay for $20 another great deal I would say.

As long as your foam and support structures are good, I would recommend just replacing the skins, you should be able to do it with a little bit of research and elbow grease. I have heard they go on easier if you slip a garbage bag over the foam, then put the skin on. I have not done this though, just what I have read. I'm not sure of your year, but here is what I found on fleabay.
