Ok, after some thought I went back and got my deposit back. While I think the leak was only a weatherstripping issue the shake at the wheel might have been more than just tires. Dealer wouldnt budge on price so I walked.

The search continues but im lookin 2005 and up only now

Thanx for the feedback

I got my drop-top in near perfect condition and very very clean for $4,500 with 105,000 miles on it. I'm glad to hear you decided to walk away from the deal rather than be a idiot and buy it on impulse just to have a mustang. I once went to a dealership to buy drop-top that had 109,000 miles and the dick head wanted wanted $10,000 with 24% APR. Dealerships are a rip. Wait for that perfect deal. Check the papers and craiglist everyday. Your patience will pay off when you buy a cleaner stang for half the price.

I got my stang last year in march for 5700 cash, they wanted 7,000 for it and with 130k miles. usually if you pay cash they will drop it a lot.

i didnt read all three pages but i got my 2004 with 92,000 miles on it with the leather interior and mach 460 stereo package for 6,300 at an auction, after dealer fees that i had to pay the guy who snuck me in and tax tag and title it came to 7,300$

BUY A GT IF YOU HAVE A CHANCE.
Gas milage is not that different. i have had my 6 for about a year and a half now but am looking into getting a gt triple black

Yeah I was starting to think about the v6 v8 issue, it has to be the same as my jeep Grand the 6 and 8 had almost the same MPG plus the 8 had bigger *****.

I basically bought my Volvo C70 on impluse I drove it and said yes now. almost 2 years later and I hate the friggin thing crappy front end bumpy as hell.

Yeah Im waiting, GT ragtop manual is my plan. But prlly 05+

I have a 2000 green v6, and a 2000 green v8 and i would take the v6 any day. I think the big deal with them is people like the sound.
