Default Engine Swap...

i have a 2000 mustang V6 manual...

im hoping one day to make it haul butt

it has a 3.8 is it possible to drop a 5.0 in it?
if not what are my options?

5.0 swap isnt worth it...you could just build the 3.8 or go to a junk yard and get a 4.2 v6 out of a 97 up f150 and build it.

5.0 in stock trim will be slower in your car.
Do some reading in this section. There are several paths to take in order to make power with the motor you already have.
