It's time I give my car a tune up. What should I get?

dont u mean Tune up time! lol

I would get amsoil 0-20 with EA filter, good for 25k miles offers best protection. i would only get it if u do alot of traveling or if u want the best protection. Autolight or motor craft spark plugs, kn drop in filter, and probably new wires if needed.

I totally meant to say 'tune up time' but it was posted at almost 2:00am, I was tired ha ha.

So I was going to get the MSD wires because I've heard nothing but good about them. Do I want the 8mm, 8.5mm, or 9mm? I'm also going to go with the autolite plugs, but which ones do I want? And what coil pack do I want?

Coil packs usually dont go bad so you dont need to worry about that.

If I was doing a proper tune up I would seafoam the car about 1000 miles before my next scheduled oil change. wait those 1000 miles, change the oil/filter, plugs, wires, fuel filter, diff fluid, trans fluid/filter, air filter. I think thats it.

MSD only makes one set for your car, get them. Get some NGK TR5 plugs, clean the air filter, I recommend re-oiling with AFE oil instead of K&N. Clean your MAF. If you haven't done it yet, seafoam it before you replace your plugs. If you haven't done it yet, change your fluids in your diff and tranny. Maybe run a coolant flush and clean that system out and put in all fresh stuff. Check your belt for wear. Check all your hoses for swelling or deterioration. Get a PCV valve. IF you have the patience, go ahead and buy a couple bottles of brake fluid and flush all the old stuff out too, it'll do wonders.

Pretty much I have most of that done already. The air filter is new from the new cai I got. The tranny and diff fluids will be changed next week when the gears are installed. I just seafoamed and did a oil change. And I did the coolant earliar this summer. I think all I need are the plugs, wires, and a fuel filter.

The MSD's are a clear winner for the wires.
Autolite plugs, motorcraft plugs, or NGK plugs?????????????
What brand fuel filter?

I just flushed my brake system and it seemed to help the feel a lot, the pedal seems much more smooth. And you only will need one of the 1 Liter bottles if you don't waste a lot. Maybe get one large and one small bottle, and I second the NGKs

And Motorcraft Fuel Filter if you can find one.

Not sure why, but I'm having a hard time finding the NGK TR5's for the v6. Any help with a link to a cheap dealer?

Do you not have an Advance Auto or Auto Zone or something similar up there?
