Exact same engine as yours besides the IMRC's in the lower intake. Oh and it is internally balanced instead of externally.

ok, thanks for the info. i am really needing to get an engine SOON! And i really dont make a wrong purchase. what exactly does that mean the IMRC's in the lower intake. Can i just swap my lower intake to make it work? I would like everything in the swap to go smoothly.

next question - so my engine is internally balenced... not really to sure about what that means either. will this work?

If anyone knows, what will i have to swap to my new used motor

I am a fairly new member of the v6 community here on this site, and i really appretiate any info that is given to me.

sry, the 99-00 is externally balenced and the 01-04 is internally. correct? Are these interchangable motors in our 99-04 or not?

Yes you can put that engine into your car. You will not need to swap anything. Itll drop right in. You can swap the lower intake from your current engine to the other one if you want.

Make sure the new motor has the flywheel on it, and that when you swap, you keep the RIGHT flywheel on there.

I pulled a swap in my car one time, and for the life of my couldn't figure out what we had done wrong. Turns out when we had the whole mess apart, we accidently put the wrong flywheel on. Motor had a nasty vibration to it when I fired it up.

ok, basically it should be a direct swap, eh?

So, its fine that the new engine is internally balenced and mine is externally? Just as long as i dont put my flywheel on there...
I am not sure if the if the 01-04 engine i am looking at comes with a flywheel.

Would it be worth buying an alluminum flywheel?

Should i replace the lower intake? I mean i have one from my 99 engine. Any advantages of either?

I am mainly worried about all of the connections being the same and computer working properly with the newer engine.
