Default Pacesetter Lts with Egr

Does anyone have any experience with the long tube headers from pacesetter? Last I heard they didnt work with an EGR but apparently there is a second version out that is compatible, 70-3221. They are only $200 also. Any input would be appreciated!

Pacesetter people are few and far between. Everyone seems to be sticking to the tried and true Mac long-tubes.

I know Jegs is selling both egr and non-egr pacesetter headers. If they're selling them they should fit no problem. If they don't fit, they should have no problem taking them back. That's how I see it. I want them.. but I also want them to be all around better than the Macs with no install problems..

Lets us know how it goes.

Emission legal and I don't have a tuner yet. So, yes. For now at least.

I think I may just get them and try them out but then again, maybe the MACs flow better? Does anyone know?

thats one thing i've been looking at looks like both offer with and with out egr headers. i've been trying to find out what would be the pro and cons of going with the egr delete as far as performance. (besides it being emission legal)

From what I have read, there isn't much if any performance gain from deleting the EGR. It usually is just for cleaning up the engine bay or for simplicity. However the EGR sends in hot air, slightly raising combustion temps but that shouldn't much of a difference according to my limited knowledge since it doesn't raise them that much. Correct me if I'm wrong. haha
