Whats the bare minimum amount of money i can lower my 2002 base model with?

And Besides cosmetics what good does it do?

Well I lowers the center of gravity of the car and gives it more handling. U can lower the car 1.5in.

lowers center of gravity making cornering slightly easier. if you have to tools and time you can do it for free, take you springs out and cut them off at the ends. there's a how to thread somewhere on here... ill find and edit it in. https://mustangforums.com/forum/6-cy...our-stang.html

You can lower it a little. It will still increase the spring rate and help the looks.

The bare minimum to lower your car is $0. Providing you have all the tools that you need to cut your springs already.

OK, I've decided ill definitively be doing this, I am restoring a 67 right now, so you can believe i have tools. Can't beat the price..

But how far is reasonable?

this is 1.75 front and 1.50 in the rear on my buddies car we did id start small like half a coil or so drive it a bit and if you wont lower cut some more off it sounds like you dont mind the work thats the way i would do it
