Default Differential +gears question!

Hey everyone.. I'm new to these forums. Hoping I could get a little help!

Alright here it goes. I got a 99 mustang 3.8l 5speed manual.. I wanna put a limited slip diff, But was wondering if I should change the gears wile I'm at it..
Whats recomended 3.73's or 4.10's?? I've great things about 4.10's just that there hard on gas. So yeah, if anyone could help me out that would be great! Thanks!

nick.

Since your have a 5 speed, most people will say go with 3.73's. I would as well. Definitely do it while you have the diff out.

with the 4.10 and a 5 speed you will spend more time shifting than accelerating in 1st, and you'll top out at like 90 or 100 in 5th

so basically your saying 3.73 are the best bet for taking off in a hurry and top end acceleration.

I think they are the best all around for a daily driven 5 speed.

This is so wrong, yes you'll shift out of 1st faster but you won't top out at 90 or 100 in 5th gear...
