Quit Crying!!!
I am new here and own both GM and ford products.

My wife just purchased a 2003 GT automatic. (yuck...but I did not buy it). My friend has a V6 and I would not be suprised if the v6 could toast the gt. I am not impressed with the performance of the v8 in the GT.

As someone previously stated...do something about it. I am. I love the car. It is tight and well built. When the car is running again I am sure that I will be happy with it.

Anyways...I think the V6 is a great engine. After mine is done we are going to start to mod his.

I am so sick and tired of people complaining about their V6 mustangs. saying how slow they are and everything else. The 3.8 Liter V6 is such a potent engine. Anything from 99+ is rated at 190 rwhp. throw on a supercharger, intake, exhaust, a chip, and a bigger cam. And you'll easily be able to smoke a GT off of the line.
Quit crying about it. Be happy that you have a mustang instead of a 81' escort or something. If you don't like it buy something else.
I love my V6 mustang, even with 102,000 miles on the odometer. All my friends have TransAms and Lightnings, but it doesn't stop me to cruise with them. Be happy with what you have...
