Nothing wrong with an auto. More consistent at the track. And I would seriously still consider the window switch for safety, with nitrous I feel like the safer the better.

I am the same way.. I feel I would rather do whatever is the safest.. And talking with this guy who works on a lot of mustangs and has done a bunch of track cars told me that with the msd switch i run the risk of blowing the intake whereas with the way he did it i run no risk of damaging anything or blowing anything up... so idk..

Safe would have been going with a wet nitrous kit, with the dry kit make sure your fuel injectors can handle whatever shot your going with, and make sure you have a good dyno tune.
An auto can overrev too, I've had it happen and melted a motor doing it lol. Back before msd made a controller. If you're worried about someone messing with the controller, then mount it under the dash, and just check it before you make a run.
