or i can buy a rebuild block for 1800-2400. what is the best bet?

BUy your head gaskets and all new head bolts from Ford, felpros suck.

so oem ford goodness once again ay? i can do that i just dislike my dealership. They are such a** holes. took me over 2 hours for the lady to figure out that she had to order the maf because it was not in the back. smart people there for sure

Use a different dealer, Tommy Vaughn Ford out of Houston is really good, stocks almost everything and their prices are great, especially when shipping out of town.
