I am trying to make a hood that will clear this setup, but need to know how high above the fenders the blower body sits as well as the height of the pulley. If anyone can post pics and/or measurements of this it would be appreciated.

Your making your own hood? And it depends which adaptor plate you get. I believe the one Matt makes is 1.75 inches tall, the supersix one is much taller. Others have coppied the design so make sure you don't have one of those plates. Check over on V6power.net too, there's more guys with M112's stangs over there and many build threads with pics. Also check "the official M112 thread" sticky, Matt posted a few pics of the snout with no hood on his car.

Cool thanks. And yeah Im making my hood. My roommate is gonna help me, he has made a t-bird hood and bumper and fairings for his sv650, and I already made a CF cowl for my car too.

Side profile shot of the original version of my boxed upper. This is about 1/2" higher than the lower profile (1.75") version I ended up making for most of my customers (and running on my car).

A 2 inch scoop that far forward would look retarded if you ask me. But yeah I don't see any problems. I would go 2 1/2 though just to be sure since the Cobra R is a 2.5 inch rise and just barley clears.

the best thing to do is to do it once the eaton is installed. Matt and I got into a discussion about height issues, where a LOT of things can come into play. These include motor mounts, tranny mount, which plate you're using, wether you run your belt on the front ribs or back ribs, what size upper and what size lower you're running, it all makes a VERY big difference.

I was thinking about that but the car will be getting painted prior to a engine build/blower install and I was wanting everything to get painted at the same time with the same batch of paint.

Shaun, the scoop appears to be about the same loc as if I just threw a scoop on there. Maybe I can figure out how to photochop it to see.

You'll need a bit more than 2" over stock. Also depends on how you do the IAC set up. Moving it to the side helps.

My hood clears everything, even the IAC, but I had to switch to the Cobra IAC.
