Question sputtering?

okay so this just started about a week or two ago, but as im driving down the road my car starts to sputter and hesitate. i just had my radiator flushed because it was pretty nasty anyway but i had heard of a couple ppl who had this problem and a flush fixed it. it still does it. my spark plugs are maybe 4 months old and the wires are about the same. i never had a problem like this with the engine since i got it about a year and a half ago. and im just a little confused and just wondered if anybody on here knew anything. i personally think its the tranny but i checked the fluid and it looks good as far as color and is full. i thought it might b the fuel injectors too, but just about every other time i fill up the car i use some fuel injector cleaner. so if you guys have some info on the matter id b really grateful to hear your guys's input

I have got the same issue. I changed oil, used seafoam in the gas tank. Whe I hit the gas (hard or easy) it feels like my tail pipes are clogged or something. It sputters ( papapapapapapapapa) Im also lost at what this could be.

It's probably a bad coil pack, I would change the fuel filter as well.

well i had to drop my gas tank and replace my fuel pump a couple months ago during the summer and when i did that i replaced the fuel filter so it shouldnt need to be changed yet. the plugs were gapped at .052 inches when i bought them and its recommended to be ad .054 inches so i didnt even bother to gap them that little extra so the gaps are alright. i did put the wires on myself but their all matched up to the right cylinder(obviously since its ran fine this long) and the coil pack should be fine. i checked the plugs and there all fine. just normal wear on them. iv got pretty new oil in it, it was changed prolly 1000 miles ago plus its royal purple synthetic oil so its still good. the oil filter was replaced then too. my problems more of a driveline thing too. i went all over the engine looking for maybe a vacuum leak or sumthing but everything seems to check out. my exhaust doesnt pop or anything its just like a hard vibration you can feel throughout the entire car.

clogged cat maybe, can you rev the engine in neutral, or does it still bog out? also pull a plug from the back of the engine and get a pic of it up, u can tell the way a engine is running from the looks of the plug. if the plug it burned it is either to hot a plug or the cat is clogged up.

NeoTokyo is right. i had already pulled a couple plugs. one from each side both front and back and they were fine. turns out it is my tranny. i talked to a mechanic and he said it was called shuttering. apparently varnish builds up on the pan after a while and at some point some chemicals in the fluid may knock it lose and pieces of varnish float around in the pan until one of the passages suck it up and has to spit it out. which causes the torque converter to hesitate and cause the vibration. all i need is a tranny flush, new filter and to clean it up and i should be good. i hope this helps for those of you who this is happening to.

properly maintained transmissions don't normally have that problem *nudge nudge*
