Hey all, i've been looking at new mustang grill emblems that are painted, but they are like 70 bucks. does anyone know if i could paint it myself? and what type of paint i would need?

You could paint it yourself. I am not sure if you would need high temp paint though...... Not sure how hot it gets there.

You might have to strip the chrome off too. Or at least scratch it up some with sand paper or emry cloth for the paint to stick. [sm=gears.gif][sm=gears.gif][sm=icon_rock.gif]

If its plastic then just spray on some primer and then use glossy spray paint and spray it on, do like 2 coats of lite primer and 3 coats of glossy spray paint and it will look good
