Default coulder plugs and pcv delete?

Ok so i am talking to Justin at VMP about my tune problem. I told him when i put it on 93+ it rattles. Almost like valves tapping. about any tune it does that. But when it goes back to stock it fine. now my mpg went from 31 down to 20 on stock tune. I drive mostly highway and i get on average 280 miles on one tank. He told me i probably need a new tune and probably need to get colder plugs and delete my pcv. what benefits do i get from doing those. thanks in advance.

You dont need to delete the pcv, just get 01+ valve covers or an oil separator.

As for the tune; Justin will work it out with you, he has a good rep for not stopping till its right.

COLDER plugs will lower the temperature of the cylinder when running to reduce pre ignition (the tapping noise u hear) the thing to note is colder plugs will make the car not want to run right till you get some heat into it too.

I didn't realize you had this thread too, that's why I asked what kind of plugs you used,

you said autolite, copper or platinum?

i've always been told platinum is horrible. but by get some heat into it i mean warm up for about 30-60 seconds usually.
