Default What size tires...

Just wondering what you guys think.. The more time I spend with my lug problem the more i keep finding the imperfections in the wheels.. at first i didnt car but with all the money i already threw into this thing i figured why not do the wheels now... anyway.. I am pretty sure i know what wheels i am going with.. but my question is what tires should I go with?? I am going with 18's.. i am thinking i might do the 18x9 in the front and 18x10 in the rear.. not sure if its really that big of a deal with the 18x10 in the rear or if i should just do18x9 all around.. but anway.. just wondering what size/brand tires you guys recommend.. looking for something a little cost effective.. not that i want ti skimp on the tires but just trying to save a few bucks.. thanks

Well you should be pushing between 220-240wrhp I would think on a 3.8 h/c/i setup but you do have a pretty low compression ratio, what size shot nitrous you running? I'm just thinking some 18x10's would be better with some beefier than normal tires for when that nitrous hits so you don't chirp shifts and for the future cause you did plan on going turbo no? Just my .02. If I was building suck a sick car throwing that much money at it I would spend an extra like $200 on the rear tires and some something beefy/sticky. Just me.

18x9 go with 275s
18x10 go with 295s

18" tires are going to be expensive. What are your driving needs (drag racing, twisties, DD etc)? Can't recommend a tire without knowing that.

mostly just a daily driver... i was looking at a set of wheels from oewheelsllc and in their package they offer they have 245/40 18 and the tire is Riken Raptis...

buy tires seperate- youll want a 255-275 for the front, and a 295-305 for the rear. 285 rear at minimum.

For DD, get all four 18x9 to rotate them.

Yeah being at school I only put about 3,000-5,000 miles on mine a year so I see no reason not to run some bigger sticky tires out back, if I had the power for them that is.
