Default do i have a problem?

hi guys i have a question about something that has been bothering me for a while and there may be some one here can help me. I have a 2002 mustang v6 auto with 88000 miles and lately i've been noticing that it runs kind of sluggish, when the car is cold and the rpms are high the car runs good then once the car warms up the rpms drop and the car runs kind of rough, when i'm at a stop light and the fan comes on the car vibrates, and the car runs really bad the transmission seems to whine while shifting into first then when stoping the rpm drop also making the car vibrate i had my car cheked and no codes were present is this an electrical problem or signs of bad motor mounts?

When was your last tune up? Have you ever had the tranny fluid changed?

Seafoam the car through the fuel, oil, vacuum.
Change the oil
Change the plugs
Check to see if the coil pack is good
Check to see if any plug wires are burnt, frayed or coming away at the boot.
Have your trans flushed, not just changed. Change trans filter too.
Have your coolant system 100% flushed
Change your water pump and thermostat
Change the fuel filter
Change your air filter
clean your maf with MAF cleaner only (The little wire in the sample tube)

I think thats about it for general maint.

Any reasoning for that?

I put seafoam in my oil, I contacted them directly about it. About half a small can to 5.5qts and it keeps everything nice and clean.

i have heard and seen several cases where cars have spun bearings or locked up after using seafoam....if its done frequently then im sure it probably wont hurt anything, but theres people who seafoam engines with high miles and bad maintenance and end up clogging their oil pickups with sludge and frying the motors due to no oil pressure...

i have heard of a couple cars spinning bearings shortly after adding seafoam to the oil as well, but i have no proof to back it up that the seafoam was the direct cause of failure in them...could have been coincidence

if it was meant to be in the oil, it would be in the oil straight out of the bottle....i dont believe in oil additives unless youre trying to hide a pre-existing issue such as a bad lifter etc

Dang, you really have a lot covered then already.

I think the fuel filter is good for 15,000 miles, just ref your service manual again.

Perhaps you should check your fan to see if it is loose or not.
Perhaps one of the fan blades got bent or something.

As for being sluggish, its hard to say.

Your IMRC's could also be getting gummed up and not opening quickly for the actuators could be failing.

Also you might try NGK plat plugs, the coppers arent bad and infact factory is copper on the pass side and plat on the drivers side because of the wasted spark ignition. That is if I remember correctly :P

You also shouldnt rule out that your auto could be getting either gummed up or just tired.

You could always try the J-Mod valve body.

Its really easy to swap out and doesnt cost much. I dunno if he is still doing them though, you will have to e-mail him.

My car shakes when cooling fan comes on also.

You might want to check to see if the motor on the fan is going bad. I can hear mine it sounds like crap, I believe a bearig in the coling fan motor is shot. I am going to replace the smly this week.

The motor is $90 dollars, well it was back in 03' :P

Just call ford and ask.

You can also buy a used one for much cheaper and have a spare in case that isnt the problem.
