Default Mpg

Is it ok to get like 15-16 miles per gallon on v6(city)? I mean I know it is 3.8 liters engine, but 15 miles is bs.
I dont have too many mods, just dual exaust as far as I know (I just got mine mustang, and this is the only
mode I have noticed, however I am a tech pro). anyway, I just changed my fuel filter, just in case. still, same mpg.
WTF??!?!? is anything wrong. what can i do????

I usually get 18-20 in the city. Even when I drive it really hard, it usually doesn't drop below 16 or 17. How hard are you driving it?

Hm..
So it is not that bad. Well, sometimes I drive it pretty hard,
I mean I like kick it to 4000rps sometimes.
Is there anything I can do to lower the mpg? well, yeahh cai. anything else?

AIR FILTER!!! Also the Tire pressure can have an effect. I used to get around 25 in the city and 30+ on the highway with the Grand Am, (Tang still being rebuilt) now it has dropped a little bit, I checked the air filter and it is dirty as hell, when I get enough money (Tang Build and odds-n-end) I will get one and it should bring the mpgs back up! Let me know.

Most the people here probably won't believe me, but going to dual exhaust actually bought me an increase of about 2-3 mpg.

open the window and do not use the Ac cause that burns mass amounts of gas

Actually by opening the windows you create a bit of lag, so you still lose gas mileage by having the windows down. You will lose just as much mileage by having the windows open as you will with the A/C. Saw it on mythbusters.
