well..today my friend told me that he raced his brothers firebird...basically...my friend has a 01 v6 a/t mustang with cai, true dual flows, and mac headers...his bro has 5 spd 98 f-bird with flowmaster....they raced....saw the whole thing...f-bird beat him by bout a car length....this being said...i raced my friends f-bird awhile back...the only diff is my mustang has 5spd and i didnt have the headers or cai at the time but i did have the true dual flows....i beat the f-bird with about 3-4 car lengths...this being said....automatic does eat more hp than 5spd...just wanted state my point....5spd helps...didnt kno what section to put this in...so since all the cars are 6'ers....hey...6-cyl place

The stock automatic isn't getting as much power to the ground as 5 speed. The automatic has to be built first. A built automatic with take a 5 speed with the same engine mods anyday. Had to throw in some support for the autos.
