Question Lowering system....

Okay, for a 2000 V6 'vert what is the best run for my money on a lowering system/springs? I heard Eibach was good... but, I want some more input first. Thanks!

Eibach, or H&R, all good stuff. Don't forget shocks, I recommend KYB, bilstein, and tokico, just depends on your budget.

Alright, well my second part of my question is will having the lowering kit on there cause other things to wear faster? Also I noticed that my flow master hangs a tad bit lower than everything else... will that become a problem as well? I'm new to the moding world with little help besides the forum, so sorry for the probably obivous questions haha.

It's all in how low you drop the car, I never recommend more than 2" on a mustang unless it's for track only purposes. If you do a mild 1-1 1/2" drop, then you should be ok. Depending on how your car aligns after it's lowered may affect wether or not you need some caster/camber plates. If you do need them, I recommend the Maximum Motorsports 4-bolt plates. They're a little pricey, but well worth it. As far as your exhaust hanging low, if it's too low, go back and have them fix it, it could just be a hanger installed wrong or something. My long tubes hang down pretty low, but no lower than stock, and I've scraped them on speed bumps and stuff, it jsut scratches them, no leaks so far ***crosses fingers***

My experience is anything you do to a car will cause it to wear faster.. but maybe I'm just hard on cars.

Lol yeah, I mean I expect some things to wear, of course... as in, I just replaced my front break pads two months ago... found out (after the dealership told me it WASN'T) a bad bearing.. that it was... so my pad on the front right is wore down all goofy.. and I have to replace it again today... break is shaking, abs light on.. the good stuff..

The worst I've done yet is knock off my scratch plate (lol gotta love the country life...) so I'm weary on dropping it in the first place. But, when I move I plan on being on pretty flat roads... so I'm prepping for later on.

As far as smoking/ blacking out the tail/head lights... is it illegal in certain states, or all states? I think here in MO it is illegal.. but not sure..

Ahh.. I already feel myself becoming addicted to this.
