Default Stock v6 midpipe vs stock v8?

Is there a difference in them besides the duels that connect at the end near the mufflers? Would the v8 connect to the stock v6 headers fine or are the measurements different?

yea thats a no go. the v8 midpipe is different from the v6 midpipe in several ways. if you want to go duals and not change ur headers ur best bet is an off road midpipe from mac. that will allow you to get rid of the ****ty v6 Y pipe and run two tail pipes. im on my way down the the shop on base right now to go throw in some mac long tube headers, and a bbk catted mid pipe, leaving in the cat back that i already have.

I have duels already..lol.. I was asking if I put the stock headers back on if a v8 mid pipe that comes with stock catts and whatnot hook up to my gt flowmaster catt back. I have the Longtubes and Mac O/r pipe on already. Ive already gone through that hell of installation and im trying to figure the best route out, I found a stock v8 mid pipe for $50 so it be wicked cheap for me just to take off the long tubes, o/r h pipe and just go back to pretty much stock.

It won't bolt up unless you can cut the flanges off and change the angle. Other than that, you're good.

You are going to have to take it to a muffler shop and ask them to cut the stock flanges off and change the angle and possibly add the two trans mount shafts and thats it.

It shouldnt be more than 70-125 in work.
My shop did mine for $70.

Then you can sell it with upgraded factory Ford catted smog and Fed legal midpipe and true duals.

Also if you are by Springfield Mo I would swap ya my stock setup for yours. :}

Good luck.
