Default Coolant leak?

So three mins ago I snapped a quick pic under my hood for another thread... and saw coolant pooled on the passanger side below the heater core ports.

I had no clue what this line goes to.... or is it even a line???

Is that not where the A/C drips water?

If it is, how do I have coolant in an A/C system I don't use, nor have?

Pics don't work for me, I'm offshore, so I have to guess what you're talking about lol. Do you still have a heater core? It could have a pinhole in it from electrolysis, it would drip down to the same area as the a/c would. Unless it's leaking in the a/c plenum and somehow making it's way out of the drain hole, but you'd most likely smell it pretty good.

I just flushed out my system the other day with those top two hoses for the heater core, the drip on the bottom is made to do that, it is a drip house, it sticks out like a half inch and nothing should attach to it, so you are fine!

Yeah I have that too, mine was dry though.
Possible that it could have leaked by the hose clamp and dripped down?

my heater core doesn't have hose clamps, it uses plastic clips.

Yup, now that you guys say it, I bet it's a leaky heater core... I hate pulling those things out. Looks like time for a quick bypass
