It all depends on which adaptor plate you get. If it is the lowest one then Lilroush's hood which is a 2.5 inch ABC exclusive cobra r hood and Ryansquick6's which is a Kaenen 4 and 1/2 inch cowl both work. The Kaenen isn't as high looking as it sounds due to the way its made (double rise). Those are the two I know for sure. It all depends on the rise of the hood. You could have a 5 inch cowl, however thats at the end of the hood, and the blower snout is what you need to clear so the sooner the hood rises the better.

Or you could do what I want to do and add a Scoop plus cut the stock hood a little.

yes. another option. I really like the look of the snout sticking up just a little in front of the hood scoop. I can't remember who but someone on V6P has that as their sig pic and it looks awesome!

Yeah there was a red Stang that had just a little cut out by the scoop...Well the 02 v6 has a scoop so is that enough clearance if i cut that little bit out? Or does he have a different hood with a scoop?

Nevermind its not really a hood scoop. I am just going to look for a different hood. I like the one on RyansQuick6. Looks good man

You can leave your stock rear end. But if you plan on drag racing, I would recommend the truetrac.
